1) How much Playtime do you have on BlastWoW ? ( type /played ingame ) MINIMUM REQ IS 5 DAYS
Roughly 2 days ingame. I realise it says minimum 5, but the lack of things to do on 255 (my main realm), causing a lack of ability to gain playtime, is a part of the reason I'm applying.
2) Have you applied within the last 30 days?
No.
3) State your name, age and location where you do live. [Minimum Age 19]
My name is Alex, I'm 22-years-old, and I live in Australia.
4) Tell us a little about yourself (not WoW related).
As I said above, I'm 22 and live in South-East Queensland of Australia.
Professional
I have two diplomas in programming. One in generalised coding, and the other specialising in web development.
I've worked for three years, full-time (5 days/week) in IT as a systems engineer, despite having qualifications in a different area of IT mentioned above.
Personal
I've played video games since I had my first computer when I was 4, so they're an integral part of my life. That being the case, I spend most of my time playing video games and talking with mates on Discord.
When I'm not playing video games I'm either reading one of my books, or out in the city with mates or I'm building/painting my Warhammer 40k models.
5) In which time zone do you reside? (GMT) (Greenwich Mean Time)
I live in the GMT+10 zone.
6) What are your normal playing times (Please give it in Server Time (GMT) (Greenwich Mean Time) and roughly how many hours do you play each day?
On weekdays I'm usually playing between 2:30AM and 3:30AM during my work hours, and between 9:30AM-1:30PM after work.
On weekends I'm able to play much more often, between 12:00AM and 2:00PM.
7) State your characters and their total play time.
I have a total of 5 characters that I play:
8) How long have you played World of Warcraft?
I've played WoW since 2006 - 12 years.
9) Have you ever been in a conflict that resulted in a kick/ban? If so, why?
I have not.
10) Have you ever been a GM/mod/admin/staff on any other private server?
Sure have.
I've been staff on three WoW servers from memory, although they're long-gone. On top of that, I've hosted a server that had an average of 30 active players, and another that had an average of 5 active.
11) If so, name the Game, Server, duration of GMship, and state why you left the Server.
The WoW ones I don't remember, but they were each for about 6 months at a time before they ended up shutting down.
The 30-player that I've hosted was a Garry's Mod DarkRP Server. I had to shut it down after 8 months due to circumstances at the time preventing me from playing.
The 5-player one was a Conan Exiles server that lasted 3 months until nobody was joining anymore so I decided to shut it down.
12) What interests you about the GM position?
Put simply, one of the main reasons I'm applying is that I'm not happy with the response time of the GMs during the times that I play. At this point I've posted 2-3 times per day for 3 days in the Discord about problems that I encounter time-and-again. I think the server has a lot of potential, but when nobody is available to help it kind of ruins the experience.
Secondly, the 255 realm needs love. As I stated above it's my main realm, I enjoy it more than the 87. As much as I enjoy it though, it's just not enough. I can now play for an average of 5-6 hours per character and be totally geared minus BT and Archimonde Neck. I'd like to help with the development of the 255 realm, adding various bits of content here and there as I get ideas or suggestions. As said above too, the lack of GM response is definitely there. I've actually had GMs assist me on the 87 realm, but not at all on the 255.
13) Do you have good knowledge of GM commands?
Yes I do. As with any coding/commands though there is stuff that I will forget, but I have resources to remind me.
14) If you were to submit a suggestion, what would it be?
Work on the 255 realm.
Essentially just read what I said in the part about what interests me.
15) Do you vote regularly?
Yes. I try to at least once per day.
16) In paragraph form, tell us why should we choose you.
I don't know if I can stretch a paragraph, but I'll give it a shot. You should choose me to be a GM for three reasons. Number one, I already work in online customer service. As I said I work in IT as a systems engineer, I'm very frequently dealing with clients' problems, I'm no stranger to people that are frustrated with technology/software. I have the ability to turn frustrated people happy, it can be quite useful. Number two, my experience. As I said I've been staff on various servers in the past. I know a lot of frequent problems that people encounter, and how to fix them. When it comes to problems that I've not seen before, I am very quick to troubleshoot. Working in IT has given me the ability to work out what causes and how to fix problems without to much time or hassle. Number three, my availability. To my knowledge, you guys don't have any GMs that live in the +10GMT time zone, or at least not one that I've encountered. I've been informed that you have a GM that is the "go-to guy" for the 255 realm, but I've not even seen him online in Discord let alone WoW. I've had people online at the same time as I am, and they're asking for help with this or that and I'm unable to give them more than verbal advice on how to get around or fix something, so you need a GM that is online around the same times that I am.

I have a total of 5 characters that I play:

- Impastor (255) - 6 hours
- Sunderthighs (255) - 8 hours
- Frostrating (255) - 9 hours
